Michelle Raybourn Releases "Wildfire Woman" and her Full Album Natural Disaster

Dallas, TX - Americana/Bluegrass singer-songwriter Michelle Raybourn released her folksy new song, “Wildfire Woman”, on February 28, part of the launch of her full-length record Natural Disaster. The song speaks to finding renewal in the aftermath of life's trials — being refined by the fire like gold and rising like a Phoenix from the ashes.

Raybourn co-wrote the track with her longtime collaborator and fellow Texan, Gloria Anderson, who also contributed to the album's first single released in November “Old Faithful”. Their creative chemistry shines through as they weave themes of nature, decay, rebuilding, and transformation — motifs that inspired the album’s title.

The track was recorded under the masterful guidance of producer Jeremy Casella, whom Raybourn met while sharing the stage at the Indelible Grace Hymn Sing, celebrating 50 years of RUF. Bringing a rich tapestry of sound to the single are accomplished instrumentalists Cody Kilby on guitar, Andy Leftwich on fiddle, mandolin, and mandola, and Byron House on bass, a powerhouse ensemble in the folk world. The record was tracked at Graybox Studio and mixed by Buckley Miller.

Wildfire Woman and the full Natural Disaster album are available on all major streaming platforms.
